Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation is the art and practice of being still of body, mind, and soul. If you take time out of your hectic life every day, you can bring stillness back into your being. In stillness, our mind and body can rest and let our soul become rejuvenated. During this rejuvenation, our mind can accept our soul's intuition. Our mind can listen and bring what is necessary to heal into our bodies.

Healing through meditation can be physical, mental, and/or spiritual. Our day to day stress levels fill much anxiety and feed disease into our beings. If we take time to BREATHE, we can find our center to EASE our body, mind, and spirit, living a life of wellness.

  • 1 Find a quiet space where you can close your eyes and breathe deeply for 15 minutes.
  • 2 While breathing in, picture your body like a vessel that with each breath, you are filling with light. Imagine it filling up as water would fill a glass. As you breathe out, blow out all the impurities of the day, aches, pains, release them with each exhale.
  • 3 With each inhale, breathe in deeply and visualize bright white light filling your body. Continue doing this until you can visually see all the impurities and negativity gone and your body filled with this light and energy.
  • 4 At this point, you can begin your work. Work of self-awareness, healing, enlightenment. Positive Vitality!

What Should I Expect in a
Reiki Session?

During a one hour Reiki treatment, clients remain fully clothed as the practitioner places their hands on and/or close to the client’s body to facilitate a space for healing.

Many practitioners follow a set of predetermined hand positions on and around the torso (front and back) as well as the head and feet.

By facilitating a space for healing, practitioners allow the client to trigger their own innate healing response and find a sense of balance in their entire being.

Each treatment is fluent, different, and tailored to the individual during the moment of the session.
